  • The virus spreads mainly from person-to-person through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes and they are breathed in by someone nearby.
  • It spreads between people who are in close contact with one another (within 6 feet for longer than 15 min.)
  • Possible to spread by touching a surface or object that has virus on it and then touching your face, mouth, nose or eyes.
  • The virus cannot enter the body through the skin.
